Autumn in New Mexico

Autumn in New Mexico. The last sturdy wildflowers adorning the hills. Cottonwoods turning gold along the rivers and acequias. The sweet smell of piñon smoke rising in the evening air. Northern New Mexico is sand and sage, plains and mesas, flame-colored cliffs—surrounded by a deep blue sky and brilliant white clouds that herald this magical time of year.

One of our most beautiful seasons . . . where you can make pictures of the amazing colors, textures, light and shadows of our enchanted land.
